My auction company uses the 110vac auction software. We are very pleased with the quality of this program as it makes our jobs so much easier. The closing of the sale is so much easier and quicker (great when everyone is tired and wants to go home), just a click of the mouse and the bidder is closed out, the consignor is totaled and the sale is done. I particularly like the fact that I can bring any previous sale up at any time. I like this for the fact that it's right there should there be a question on any purchase by the bidder or the consignor. When tax time rolls around, all I have to do is recall the sale and there is my tax amount,total sale amount, as well as commission amount. I would highly recommend this program to anyone needing auction software.

The best part is THE PROGRAM IS EASY TO USE!!!!!

My opinion with OTvac software after over 6 months of using the program is:

1. With using tickets after an consignment auction with 15 to 25 sellers it takes me 7 to 8 hours to complete all paper work and a big headache. OTvac less then 1 hour (and that includes a number of coffee breaks)No headaches.

2: Without OTvac I use the adding machine and add all the tickets at least 2 or 3 times for the total of each seller to make sure it is right. (OTvac will do it all for me one time with no errors in less then 30 seconds for each seller.)

3. When a seller wants to check out the tickets there. No waiting for tickets or no tickets that is not paid.

4: OTvac works great with Windows 98 SE and Windows 2000. Had problems with Windows XP (Not OTvac) Windows XP will put your OTWIN Folder in 2 places (shared and Drive C:) and give problems with your MDB. files. (Can be work around)

5. Would not recommend using wireless network due to interference with the network. (Cordless Phones, Cell Phones and Microwaves) All run on all most the same Frequencies as the wireless network.

6. With wireless network most of all security is a big factor and very easy for a hacker to get in your system. (Don't get me wrong wireless can be great but with experience I like the wire, lots faster)

7. Price is the big factor, you might not have all the bells and whistles as with other programs, (You don't need or may never use why pay for them)

8. Best of all you need service there is someone that will help you and will work with you on your problems.

9. If I would buy OTvac again the answer is a big yes.

We have been a computerize auction company since about 1990, and had the soft ware by the original company that is now 110vac. We have been fortunate enough to have Mr. Hodges working with us over the years perfecting our system. In my opinion it is second to none. I would quit the auction business before changing back to the old way of clerking and cashiering.

 It is quick and simple and easy to use, we are also wireless which means both the clerk and cashier or inside the trailer at all times. No lost tickets or wet tickets . All items sold are on the checkout invoice for that individual when they settle. The 110vac program was designed and built through the everyday use and problems surrounding the auction business. Do yourself a favor, if your in the business, get yourself a 110vac system you'll be glad you did!

 I purchased the program. I had purchased another product and paid three times what this software cost and could not use the software. After I paid my money the company would not answer my calls, when they did they said I would have to pay extra for tech support. When I looked at this program, I loved it. It was user friendly, had all the tech support I wanted and made my life so much easier.

Richard Hodges is a very very nice person and helped me with every aspect of the software conforming it to my kind of auction.

He has made using the software a wonderful experience. I have used it on several auctions and called and he fixed whatever I needed changed to make my auction run smoother.

I would highly recommend this program to any auction house. It just makes the closing out alot faster and more professional.

My only regret is that I did not find this software before I spent alot of money on the first one.
